·           What type of jewelry should I bring to the event?Anything Gold!  This includes all men’s and women’s jewelry, class rings, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, gold coins, and even dental gold.  If you are unsure if something you have is real gold, bring it anyway.  Let the gold girls put it to the test!

·        What if my gold has stones or pearls in it?  Upon your request, Goldgirl Events will attempt to remove the larger stones and return them to you.

·        What does Karat mean?The karat system is used to reveal the minimum amount of pure gold found in an item. Gold jewelry contains a percentage of pure gold and other alloys to strengthen the jewelry. 24 karat (24K) gold is pure gold. 18 karat (18K) gold is 75% gold. 14 karat (14K) gold is 58.3% gold. 10 karat (10K) gold is 41.7% gold.

·        How is my gold offer calculated?  During the event an agent will test your gold for karat (pure gold content) and weight.  We base our CASH offers on the London Fixed Gold Price.  The London Fixed Gold Price is the recognized industry standard for pricing gold and precious metals.  To check the daily gold price, go to www.kitco.com
